I've had my weighted blanket for around 8 months now and I still sleep with it every night. In fact I really struggle to sleep without it when I'm not at home and haven't taken it with me. The mink cover was beautiful in winter but I personally prefer the bamboo cover and would highly recommend it. The bamboo cover is great for warmer weather and the silkiness of the bamboo makes it easier to move the blanket around on the bed. I purchased the adult size which is great but if you are using the blanket in a larger bed I would recommend purchasing the Queen, I wish I had but I'm still very happy with my blanket. I'd love to see the bamboo covers released in a range of different colours to match different bedding colour palettes.

My hubby and I love our blanket, will struggle when it comes to summer and not having it on.. one thing we had to do was take it out off the cover as my hubby is a puller of blanket and broke a couple of ties. So instead of struggling each morning straightening it out, we just took it out of cover.. maybe that is something to look at for future blankets a better way to keep it all together..

This was gifted to me for my birthday! I have very bad insomnia and struggle with falling asleep/ staying asleep and every time I have used this blanket I’ve fallen asleep extremely fast and stayed asleep unless it comes off during the night.

I bought the 6.3kg blanket for my 8 year old who suffers with night terrors, anxiety and sensory overload. We used it last night for the first time. I ordered my 9kg granite weighted blanket back in April, and it has helped my sleep and my anxiety so much! It took a week or two to get used to the weight, but after that it's been like getting a hug every time I curl up under it! It's soo soft, and with the exceptions of one tie coming undone and one tearing off (quick stitch back in place, no harm done) I have had no problems with it! It's meant I've been sleeping better and (in conjunction with other things) my anxiety has calmed down a little. Now it feels weird to not sleep with it on! Also a great way to get toned arms when making the bed!

I’m an Army vet with complex PTSD. A feature of that for me is paranoia and finding myself patrolling outside the house at night. I’ve been on a number of medications, had heaps of therapy, etc. While this blanket isn’t a cure-all, it is the only thing that gives me a calm night’s sleep. Couldn’t recommend it more highly.

I bought the blanket for my son, whom is in his final year of school and a dancer. His sleep was restless and his legs would often ache after dancing classes.

I love my Calming Blanket.
It arrived quickly after ordering it.
I purchased the 9kg Adult size blanket, with the minke cover and a spare cotton cover.
I have not yet tried the cotton cover but I have the mink cover on and it is so soft and silky smooth.
I am Autistic, and have, and a few mental health issues. Which make sleep a huge problem for me. With this blanket I have already noticed my sleep is much better and laying under it when I’m feeling stressed or overwhelmed feels like I sink deep into my bed and cocoon myself which is calming for me.
I highly recommend getting one if you have anxiety or sensory processing disorder.
In fact I am thinking of getting one ( light weight) for my daughter who is also autistic and has sleep disorder too. She keeps trying to steal mine but it’s too heavy for her.

Can I please start by saying this will be long but worth it, I have had my blanket for a little over a month and it has changed our whole lives.
I have very complex sleep issues including PTSD. This blanket has changed everything!
I have tried everything from Yoga/meditation, exercise, medication plus many other things (including making my own weighted blanket) and nothing worked. My poor husband was struggling to get a good nights sleep too because I would often wake up thrashing about; I had a near drowning incident 10years ago and he would have to catch me and put me back to bed or pin me in bed until I calmed multiple times a night, almost every night.
So here's the difference, and one negative reaction I've had which is not the blankets fault, and let me state that I'm back at the website today not originally to write a review but because I decided to buy a blanket for each of my children too (both are ASD & SPD). I borrowed one from a friends kid for my kids to try and they both loved it and slept longer than usual with it.
1. I used to sit up all night watching TV waiting to feel tired or relaxed enough to fall asleep, if I try to early I just toss and turn all night. Most nights I would sit up until midnight, sometimes later. Since getting my blanket and sitting with it on my lap I barely finish a movie at night, now most nights I am ready to turn in at 9:30, sometimes earlier.
2. Instantly my NEED for coffee disappeared! My colleagues used to make me coffee all day in our busy office because I work hard and rarely have time to make my own, but I always gulped it down gratefully. I stopped drinking all coffee offers immediately without even realising it; in fact, they noticed it first.
I have gone from having easily 5 coffees before lunch to NONE. I don't even feel the need for a morning coffee anymore.
3. I have not had one single night terror that I was drowning, not a single one since getting this blanket. My husband has not had to catch me from trying to escape "the water"; I've not climbed our bedroom furniture, or panicked once. CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT?
4. My only negative which I'm only putting in for consideration by people with chronic pain, is that I have rheumatoid arthritis, and I do feel sore in my joints when I move during the night. I probably would be better off buying the next weight down, and will try out my kids blankets when it arrives to determine if that should happen. If so, I will gift my blanket to my husband to use on his nightshifts in his FIFO job and I will get the next size down for myself.
Please note, I'm not a rich person, I am not buying all these blankets because I have an unlimited supply of money. I am buying them because MY LIFE HAS CHANGED My kids say I am a happier person, my husband is getting a full nights sleep beside me, and I am actually SLEEPING I can feel myself having DEEP sleep instead of only staying in the light sleep zone. I have had no PTSD attacks since it arrived and have had my first REAL dreams in years.
If that is not enough of a reason to give it a try, these guys have a pretty good returns policy; why not see for yourself. I'm grateful I did, and I'm grateful my friend Alexis recommended this company.
By the way, my last blanket arrived so quickly I couldn't believe it. I live rurally, and yet I ordered Friday night and it arrived by the following Monday.

I bought the 6kg blanket as part of a bundle with summer cover and sleep spray. I suffer with anxiety and related sleeplessness and the blanket has made a huge difference. The more I use it the better it seems to work. The sleep spray is also the best I've ever used and is very soothing for mind body and spirit. I received excellent customer service and support when the original minky cover had a stitching issue. The replacement was perfect. I purchased the adult 6.8kg with a cover and loved the ties inside the cover to hold the blanket in place. I couldn't believe how amazing it felt under the bamboo blanket. I wasn't over heated and felt comfortable all night. It will travel with me everywhere and as it is an adult single is perfect to wrap around while watching TV or reading. I am definitely more relaxed and noted my breathing be more regulated and controlled. Very happy with purchase and delivery was fast. I also used after pay so I'm not even anxious over the payments. :grin:

I got my blanket 1 week ago. I have noticed a marked improvement in my quality of sleep and I don't wake up tired any more. I used to wake up many times during the night, however with this blanket I only wake once at the most and can go back to sleep much better. I’d worried that the blanket would be too small or too hot when buying it. Thankfully, it turned out to be perfect in both regards and I’ve been enjoying my new blanket very much. However I was pretty dismayed to realise when I unboxed it that the mink cover was torn at the zipper, and has/will continue to fray until I fix it. It doesn’t impact my using the blanket except to be careful not to make the tear worse, but it was still unfortunate.

This blanket really helped my sleep so much. I always toss and turn and my feet feel weird when they don't have something heavy on them. I used to put a pillow on my feet every night to try and put some pressure there but it always fell off. Once I got this blanket, it totally changed the way I sleep. This is without a doubt the best weighted blanket available and is a must have for chronic pain sufferers! It helps to calm and relax both body and mind and enables me to cope on the nights when the pain is almost unbearable. When you snuggle under this amazing product, it feels like being you are being embraced.
At first I was worried that the extra weight would be problematic and exacerbate my pain, however it is exactly the opposite. I also suffer from insomnia and dreaded bed time knowing I would toss and turn for hours. I have slept more soundly since using the calming blanket, than I have for as long as I can remember. Their pillow spray is another must have product now too, it smells divine and helps lull you to sleep.
I would also like to commend the company on providing superior customer service. My blanket came within days and any questions were answered very quickly. The staff are very friendly and know their product well.
I now have two calming blankets, one for bed, one for the couch. I couldn’t live without them.

This is a great, comfortable blanket for those who enjoy covering with heavy comforters. The plush cover is very soft and velvety. However, I take it off when using the blanket in the lounge since I’m afraid it will get dirty (and not clean easily). All in all, a great product that requires you to be a bit more careful around it (unless you have money to get two!).

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for my mom. She has advanced dementia and a number of elderly illnesses that come with age. Her sleep is very poor and this blanket helps her with naps throughout the day so she’s not always exhausted. It’s soft and, very warm (although she’s always cold), and the quality is very good. I like the blanket but the filling feels a bit wonky and shifts when moving. I retied the ties as instructed but it still seems a bit thicker on one side. Checked for holes and leaking but its fine. Maybe it’s just the way they are designed. I still like the weight and the feel and I’m glad I bought it (but not over the moon with it).

It feels like a sandbag but I love it! I think my mistake was getting the heaviest one - one weight below would be perfect for me. Essentially, it kinda feels like sandbag (but in good way) and the weight does shift a bit, but always stays on my body. The cover is very soft, with long fibres and very cuddly. Advice - if you order, take 6.8kg - I think it would be more comfortable.

Good quality, needs care
I’ve had this blanket well over a month now and I’m really happy with how comfortably it sleeps, the design, and the softness. However, I made a mistake of treating it like any regular blanket and teared two of the ties that connect it to the cover. Attaching them back together is easy, but keep in mind that this thing is pretty heavy so if you tug on it hard, things will come loose on the inside. I feel that the tie system should be improved. 4 stars from me and I would recommend it.

Having sleep issues for most of my life and trying all kinds of “tried and tested” methods to solve them, I was pretty skeptical about weighted blankets in general. First night with the Calming Blanket all my doubts were shattered!!! I slept like a baby, waking up (maybe) two times but falling right back to sleep. It’s been a 3 weeks now and things just got better - I’m not waking up at all anymore and feel much more energized in the morning.

Different to any other blanket that I own but feels surprisingly cosy. The weight kinda relaxes me and helps me focus. Also love the warm, fuzy cover it comes in….it’s perfect for snuggling under!

Very good Stress blanket
I use this blanket when i feel stressed out and under and it really does make a difference. However, I don’t really sleep with it all the time because it gets a bit hot...maybe in the winter? Still, I’m very happy and satisfied with this find!

Brings me so much comfort
Absolutely love this blanket! I have bipolar 2 disorder and struggle with sleep routines. This blanket is perfect for me as the weighted stops me from tossing and turn and the pressure helps me to switch my brain off, which for someone with a mood disorder is extremely difficult. Im so glad I found this, thank you for creating a blanket that’s so soft and perfect to cuddle with :blush:

Love the look and the feel of this blanket. It’s very soft and cosy and I use it mostly in front of the TV. I don’t have issues sleeping so can’t attest to that really but still find it very peaceful when covered with it. Best Christmas present ever!
